Gao the Arsonist plays unsettling, experimental rap for fans of Danny Brown, JPEGMAFIA and Odd Future. Gao the Arsonist has his UK roots burrowed in the grimiest spaces of Alternative Hip hop. Coming off the back of his independent tour, Gao returns to Toronto with a vengeance.

Empty Sentiment comes from the school of clunky drums and ghostly samples that MF DOOM revolutionized, Empty Sentiment brings an uncanny reflection of the genre to Toronto.

🎷LATE NIGHT JAM at the Painted Lady 🎷 Join Oleyada and Jessie Vickery to celebrate the release of her debut EP.

Oleyada is a Mississauga artist crafting indie-pop songs in both English and Spanish with lush arrangements, shimmery vocals, and playful lyricism. Her songs have made it onto popular television shows such as ‘Workin’ Moms’ and ‘The Lake’. She has travelled Spain, Paris and LA to perform and collaborate with renowned songwriters and producers.

Jessie Vickery is a singer/songwriter from Waterloo, Ontario before moving to Toronto. She started off playing at small events, performing with KW Glee, posting covers and original songs online. She has been consistently writing, releasing music and performing solo and with a full band since 2020. She put out her EP in 2022 called “Growth Spurts” under Sonar Records and has been playing shows in Toronto and Waterloo while leading up to new music this year. Jessie’s sound is incredibly unique, described as indie/pop, and she isn’t afraid to push her boundaries and experiment with sounds outside her comfort zone.
