Dylan Forshner
Speed, surf, and sludge are all shoulder to shoulder, battling for supremacy in Toronto Alt Indie musician Dylan Forshner’s sneering songs. Everything comes together — and then apart — in the dynamics. If Paul McCartney grew up listening to Bush and Australian slacker punk, this is what he’d be spewing.

Inspired by the post-Pandemic Toronto music scene, Dylan Forshner went from strumming his first chords to playing his first solo show in less than a year. The only thing working faster than his music talent is his ambition. This ambition led to him not only speeding through the learning-to-walk early stages of a local music career, but also to him spear-heading a new, incredibly supportive subsection of the Toronto Music scene itself.
Like the strongest songwriters, his music shines whether solo or with a band. Sure, with the band he can lean into the dynamics, but with the solo act his lyrics take on a different hue. One that invites deeper, more thoughtful listening.
