Nuggets and obscurities from the original New Wave, kicks off the show – and in-between sets.

Songwriters in the Round focus’ on the stories behind the music, and the songs themselves. The music is stripped back to allow listeners to really experience the songs at the most authentic level. What it also means is that we won’t be having ‘sets’ per se – all four songwriters will be on stage together the whole time!

Kane Miller is a singer-songwriter with an extensive classically trained background. Kane is masterfully able to create intimate songs with real meaning.  Kane blends his instruments and voice to create thought-provoking melodies that are sure to leave a lasting impression on the listener.

Lauryn Macfarlane is an up and coming alt-country singer/songwriter with a unique mix of country, folk and indie influences, Lauryn is known for her honest songwriting, powerful voice and irresistible melodies. Lauryn started touring with a classic country tribute band at the age of 18. Those tours confirmed her love of live performance and life on the road.

The Boo Radley Project is an 8-piece genre-bending collective fusing funk, indie & jazz – likened to everyone from Tower of Power & Mr. Bungle to Primus & Wilco.

Fat Moth is a high energy, 7-piece. Their outer space guitar playing, three-part vocal harmonies and hypnotic rhythm section tips the hat to elements of Folk Rock, Psych, Prog and Americana that’s sure to get them toes a’ tappin’ and bodies a’ sweatin’.
