~ SHOWS ~
Never been to an In The Round? These concerts focus on the stories behind the music, and the songs themselves. The music is stripped back to allow listeners to really experience the songs at the most authentic level. What it also means is that we won’t be having ‘sets’ per se – all four songwriters will be on stage together the whole time!
The first thing that strikes listeners about Hamilton’s Gillian Nicola is the strength of her vocals. This rising singer/songwriter calls on influences of folk, rock and alt-country to bring a sound both unique to her and that honours her diverse taste.
Lindsay Foote writes poetry to sing, blurring the lines between folk, bluegrass, and roots. Her “Going Gone” EP boasts lush acoustic arrangements while exploring love, loss, and facing the truth even in the toughest moments.
Braeden Mitchell, a singer-songwriter from Toronto, ON, just released his sophomore EP, Glory Days. Braeden doesn’t want you to simply listen to his songs – he wants you to feel them. When writing a song, his intention is for the listener to experience it on an honest level and find comfort from it.
As a singer-Songwriter, Tae uses her love of folk music as motivation for her own style, with inspirations such as Johnny Cash, The Beatles, and Bob Dylan.

We’ve welcomed various diciplines in the past, and we’ve had a great time, yet we’ve decided it’s best to organize a separate night to allow the necessary space, time, and unique vibe they each deserve. Sorry folks, but on the bright side, please come in + talk to us about a show idea!
