🎷LATE NIGHT JAM at the Painted Lady 🎷 Join Oleyada and Jessie Vickery to celebrate the release of her debut EP.
Oleyada is a Mississauga artist crafting indie-pop songs in both English and Spanish with lush arrangements, shimmery vocals, and playful lyricism. Her songs have made it onto popular television shows such as ‘Workin’ Moms’ and ‘The Lake’. She has travelled Spain, Paris and LA to perform and collaborate with renowned songwriters and producers.
Jessie Vickery is a singer/songwriter from Waterloo, Ontario before moving to Toronto. She started off playing at small events, performing with KW Glee, posting covers and original songs online. She has been consistently writing, releasing music and performing solo and with a full band since 2020. She put out her EP in 2022 called “Growth Spurts” under Sonar Records and has been playing shows in Toronto and Waterloo while leading up to new music this year. Jessie’s sound is incredibly unique, described as indie/pop, and she isn’t afraid to push her boundaries and experiment with sounds outside her comfort zone.

“Rodolfo Roger is rock singer songwriter who will hit the stage of the Painted Lady once again with his band The Bad Latitudes, this time with his special guest Navy Roses. With influences grounded on the British rock scene from the 90’s, Rodolfo will perform originals and a few covers by his favourite artists.”.

The Giant Steppas is a local Reggae band from Toronto. Members of the band are from different parts of Canada and the world, but met in College. The band’s musical style is fusing elements of Jazz, RnB, and Funk, with Reggae being the base of their sound, allowing listeners to have a unique experience. The Giant Steppas are filled with creativity and passion for what they do best, which is entertaining through music where everyone can join in singing, dancing, clapping, and down to the tapping of their feet. If you haven’t heard them live, well be prepared to be “Giant Stepping”
David Tosh Electropop production on earnest pop songwriting, David Tosh has been electrifying audiences across Canada with his 2024 debut EP, “connect & play”. Onstage, David is a mad scientist one-man-band whose freedom is a rally call for folks to be truly themselves.
Lindrena Elise is a singer songwriter from northern Ontario, currently based in Toronto. As a solo artist, she crafts poetic lyrics to create a vivid imagery. Her warm and rich vocals are accompanied by her guitar. Lindrena’s music focuses on love, loss, and navigating change. She is inspired by many artists, including Boygenius, Big Thief, Pinegrove, and Lorde.
