He re-samples and processes elements of nature, acoustic instruments and synthesizers to create a sonic landscape that blurs the lines between the real and the reconstructed. Songwriting and storytelling remain the heart of a world that mirrors our own.

Samantha: A Concept Album, Set to Stage, written and directed by Duncan Rowe with original music by Josh Doerksen and Ayaz V.

The play is a combination of storytelling, live music and dance. Throughout the play we see the transformation of Charles (aka Taz) a young rapper living in Toronto. With putting all his energy into his music career, Taz is interrupted by the lingering memories of his abusive and absent father.
