We promote music & art culture, and have done so for over 10 years now.

Though our core is music, we regularly get behind worthwhile projects in other artistic spheres. In summer 2017, we featured here at our venue, the Toronto Fringe Festival’s production of Aristophenes’ classic comedy, ‘Lysistrata’. It ran for 2 weeks, and was sold out every night to rave reviews. And deservedly so, as it featured a very talented creative team, cast & crew, who had the vision to suitably use our Music & Burlesque venue to complement and put a heightened twist on a classic play, both in terms of intimacy and audience engagement. And it was non-stop laughs, and super sexy! We followed this up in 2018 with ‘Carmilla’, which was also a success, and have hosted a number of theatre troupes since then.

Over the years, we’ve hosted film wrap parties, book launches (prose and poetry), networking parties of various kinds, cabaret magicians, all manner of Burlesque, sketch and stand-up comedy nights as well. And we’ve been the setting for indie and major films. When the right production comes along, it’s a win/win for everyone, especially the audience. Certainly, we’re into all genres of music. We are music-focused. We are a serious showcase venue. There is not one bad seat in the house. The sitelines are excellent everywhere here. And the sound is sublime.

We take part in all major music market festivals. Since opening in 2008, we’ve been an official venue for CMW (Canadian Music Week), NXNE (North By NorthEast Music Festival & Market), TD Toronto Jazz Festival, INDIE WEEK and more… Beer Week as well!

Alysha Brilla, Bob Lanois, Big Freedia, Chris Thomas King (see soundtrack to ‘Oh Brother Where Art Thou’),  Jonny Goood and The Triple O’s (Lady Gaga’s core backing band), Paul James, legendary Music Publicist Richard Flohil, Rocco Deluca, The Lemon Bucket Orkestra, The Mahones, members of The Trews, Thinbuckle/Kevin Hearn of The Barenaked Ladies, Tom Wilson of Blackie and The Rodeo Kings, and many more profoundly talented artists have played here over the years.

We are truly blessed and feel very honoured to have hosted them all. We showcase live music here 7 days a week, and the talent has been off-the-hook. We sincerely appreciate and thank you all. Please keep making music!

And every Monday, like clockwork since 2008, we produce ‘OPEN MIC MONDAYS’ – arguably the best Open Mic in the city, thanks to ALL involved!
